What’s one piece of advice to anyone trying to improve their skiing?
- Find a trainer you trust and agree on a goal and the skills you need to develop to achieve it. By staying focused on the skill, you won't get distracted by all the "ski tips" that are out there. When you train - always set an intention to keep yourself accountable.
What keeps you motivated to keep pushing your skiing?
- I enjoy learning and expanding my understanding of ski technique. I love how my skis feel in the snow when my body is aligned to get maximum ski performance. It's addictive! I'm still improving so I plan to keep pushing for more.
What’s one of your memorable skiing experiences?
- I had the opportunity to ski with my coach (yes, trainers have coaches too) for a few hours this past season. We worked specifically on developing new movement pattern and added it to my skiing. The results were immediate and incredible! Because we were so specific with the move and the result, it was easy to integrate and it stuck. It was great to be the student and experience the power of great instruction.
What type of gear do you ski on and why?
- I'm super brand loyal and have been with Head for years. I'm in the Head Raptor B3 RD boot and I'm a raving fan of the Rebels World Cup eRace Pro and eSpeed Pro skis. I ski both in a 170cm.
