Why I love teaching skiing and training people?
- Supporting and taking part in making the whole ski resort more accessible for my clients (by achieving better skills) and skiing more functional/efficient are some of the most satisfying things I know.
What’s one piece of advice to anyone trying to improve their skiing?
- Go skiing with skiers that are better than yourself.
What keeps you motivated to keep pushing your skiing?
- For me skiing is a journey of life long learning - and I absolutely love the process.
What’s one of your memorable skiing experiences?
- Skinning and skiing the old altitude route "Haute Route" from Chamonix to Zermatt in great powder conditions.. Spring 1997.
What type of gear do you ski on and why?
- Since early 2000's I have been lucky to ski for Head. I love how their plug boots fit my narrow foot and the fact that I can ski them for a whole season in all conditions without getting sore feet. My favorite ski is the eSpeed that I feel can ski anywhere and in any condition. I ski the Head eSpeed in 185cm with a radius of 18.9. I love the functionality of my LEKI Venom & Vario 3D poles and the LEKI gloves with the easy to use Trigger Loop.
