The CSIA (Canadian Ski Instructors Alliance) has 4 levels of certification, at Rookies we offer ski instructor training courses to help you achieve your Level 1 and Level 2 certifications.
Both qualifications are included in our 10 week and 7 week courses.
The Level 1 is open to anyone with an interest in learning about how to teach skiing. Candidates on the Level 1 Course will explore skiing technique and teaching methods on Beginner up to Intermediate terrain.
The Level 2 is for instructors looking to advance their effectiveness and know-how in creating great learning experiences. It is an opportunity to improve ‘situational teaching’ skills, and combine practical ski teaching methods, technical understanding and development, and improvement of guest service skills.
