New for winter 2024/25, Rookies are offering further training and certification in Japan as we work on bring more opportunity to sit exams other than New Zealand.
We have the Rookies trainers can develop your skills to achieve your exam for your level 1, 2 or 3.
For Level 1 - you have options of NZSIA or PSIC qualifications.
For Level 2 and 3 - you have an option for PSIC qualification.

* Please note that you will need to attend a certain number of Rookies Instructor/Elite Camps to prepare for your exam. Participation in our ski qualification exams is only allowed if you have completed the required training with us. There is no option to take the exams without attending our camps.
Asarigawa Onsen Snow Resort

The resort offers 11 ski trails, catering primarily to beginner and intermediate skiers, though it also has options for advanced skiers. Kamui Ski Links, Hokkaido
Located in Asahikawa, is a hidden gem among Japan’s ski resorts. It offers a more local and uncrowded skiing experience compared to larger resorts. With 10 lifts and 25 trails, the resort caters to skiers and snowboarders of all levels, providing excellent powder conditions thanks to Hokkaido’s consistent snowfall. The resort is family-friendly, with beginner slopes, but also has challenging runs for advanced skiers. Kamui's proximity to Asahikawa City makes it an ideal spot for both day trips and extended stays.
Rusutsu Resort, Hokkaido
A popular winter destination in Hokkaido, known for its extensive ski terrain and family-friendly atmosphere. Located about 90 minutes from Sapporo, it offers a wide range of slopes suitable for all levels, from beginners to advanced skiers and snowboarders. The resort is famous for its excellent powder snow and tree runs, making it a favorite among powder enthusiasts. Rusutsu features modern facilities including ski-in/ski-out accommodation, restaurants, cafes, and shops. It also includes an amusement park with rides, adding to its appeal for families.
