NZ: PSIC Licensed Professional Trainer Pathway (LPT) 2026
Whether you're aiming to enhance your teaching skills, expand your knowledge, or pursue new opportunities, our trainer Pathway is tailored to meet your goals.
Licensed Professional Trainer (LPT) Training & Evaluation
Dates: 31 August – 4 September
Duration: 5 Days (3-days Training + 20-days Evaluation)
The Licensed Professional Trainer (LPT) is designed for experienced ski instructors (minimum L3 qualification) who want to develop their skills as a trainer and become a valuable asset to a ski school.
You’ll learn how to train and develop aspiring ski instructors using the PSIC ecosystem and evaluation framework. The skills you will acquire throughout the LPT will also support instructors who are working towards trainer roles and certifications within other systems, and those wanting to work as in-house trainers for your ski schools.
3-Days Training
The first three days focus on developing your training skills and preparing you for the LPT evaluation, including communication, performance analysis, feedback and technical understanding.
2-Days Evaluation
The final two days are the LPT evaluation, assessing your ability to effectively train, develop and support other instructors.
The goal is simple: develop the skills to become an effective ski school trainer.
Great skiing, made easy.
